Leadership - Who Are You?


  • It is important to truly understand you before you can operate at your best. Your weaknesses, strengths, the values you live and your boundaries. 
  • Great leaders know what makes them , "them" . - Know Yourself to Grow Yourself.
  • You can only perform up to the level of belief in yourself and your ability.
  • The world will treat you the way you treat yourself.
  • Are you a leader? You are a leader if you have influence over some ones thinking,  behavior or development. (Greater Influence results in greater Impact, greater Income is a result of greater Impact)
  • There are 2 types of leadership roles: ( everyone is a leader)
  • Life Role Leadership - spouse, parents, siblings, friend, aunty, citizen
  • Organizational Leadership - a person who an official title or position/role.


C.R.I Formula to Win


  • Connect( Belong)  >  Relationship ( Believe)  >  Influence ( Behave)   =  Transformation.
  • The goal of every leader is to create change or transformation.
  • A leader has influence over his people and the goal is to transform them in their thinking, believing or actions.
  • Communication moves information ( from our minds to others). Communication connects us to people to build Relationships. Relationships breaks barriers to have trust between parties and this is what enables them to influence others.

Being Authentic and Transparent


  • Are you having to turn up as someone who has to prove to others? Are you someone who has to please others? Being authentic means knowing who you are and being OK with it. 
  • Authentic people
  • Know themselves well and know what they want in life.
  • Make decisions based on their own personal values rather than what is trending at time.
  • Don't seek approval from others - not validating based on others.
  • Take responsibility for their mistakes.
  • Not afraid to be vulnerable and share their true feelings.
  • Take ownership of their flaws. Stand perfect in their imperfection.
  • Being transparent as a leader and speaker is extremely powerful to connect with your audience.
  • Words don't have power, it's us that give it that power over us.

4 C's of Communication


  • Confidence (you) - confidence is an inside thing. Knowing who you are. Confidence grows by action.
  • Clarity (what) - clearly knowing what is your message, product or service. What are you offering to others?
  • Conviction (Soul) - believing in what you are saying/selling/offering from each and every part of your body.
  • Connection (audience) - how you speak so your audience will hear you and understand you.
