Kia Ora, I’m  Pritesh Chandra. I am a Speaker, Master of Ceremonies and a Technology expert.

In 2023 I won the Professional Speakers Association NZ Break Through Speaker of the Year and Best MC of the Year at PSANZ. 

I’m passionate about public speaking, leadership and guiding people to reach their full potential.
Why? Because I — in fact my whole family — has been on a journey of improvement since my great-grandparents came to Fiji as part of the Girmit (Indentured Labourers). My grandfather talked about how the hardships of Girmit shaped so many Indian Fijians. Each generation worked hard so the next generation would have a better life. They had to be tenacious, resilient, and determined just to survive. 

My parents, for a better future for their kids, decided to leave their stable jobs, income, family support and move to New Zealand in 1999. I was still a student back then and the migrant struggles started. “Who am I?” was the predominant question, as i started to discover my identity. 

Having worked in the Education, Broadcasting, Telecommunications, Airline and local Government sector as a technology expert for over 20+ years, I have seen the need, as well as the lack of good leadership. I have seen people succumb to the rat race of life, many not even realizing the true calling on them and their potential.

My mission is to empower people to be Better Versions of themselves.

During the 2020 lock-down my wife and I launched Better Version of You. Communication and Leadership skills were needed at all levels – at home within families, in communities and the nation. We started to equip, empower and mentor leaders in the art of powerful & impactful communication and leadership virtually. 

After discovering my own self and my voice in 2015, I started to professionally host private and corporate events through our first brand – MRMC Events. It was relatively easy to convert that stage experience and knowledge into keynote speaking and corporate coaching

I have had the wonderful privilege of speaking to 200K+ people from the stage (in room & virtual) and every time I get on stage, my goal is to connect my heart to the microphone to serve my audience. 

In the changing world of instant gratification and cancel culture, leaders face new challenges, this means what used to work before is no longer as effective now. A change in thinking and actioning is required and this is where my unique set of talents come in.

The goal of every great leader is the transformation of their people. In this talk we look at the power and importance of Connection, Relationship & Influence that results in transformation.

• Barriers to Great Leadership (Four Zones to your Success)

I have created a unique model with key zones that every leader finds themselves in when trying to achieve their goals. With a powerful set of guidelines, I guide leaders to navigate to the next zone and the one after to reach their goal.
